It is a fantastic encouragement for an independent channel in high-definition to receive this prestigious international prize, thank you! After less than a year from the launch of our interactive well-being channel, this reward recognizes and underlines how the originality of Melodyzen's concept, even if difficult to explain at first, is however its source of success. We will pursue with strength and passion our strive for the highest quality of HD, as one of the vectors of this original concept: television can actually make you feel better!

The staff of RBC TV was delighted to learn that the channel was awarded the top prize from one of the most prestigious awards in the TV world - the European Hot Bird TV Awards 2008.
The recognition of our work by the global TV broadcasting community is extremely important for us. It is a great feeling to know that Russian television is still greatly respected abroad. It testifies to the overall high quality of Russian television, which is consistently gaining authority not only with professionals, but also with the viewers. I believe that the key to RBC TV’s success is the combination of news broadcasts with financial and analytical programs. I am sure that this award will become a source of inspiration for both RBC TV and our colleagues across Russia.

THE BIOGRAPHY CHANNEL started airing just one and a half year ago in the German-speaking territories. To get an European award for such a young channel is a great recognition and very motivating. It shows that we are on the right track with the positioning of BIO.Next to the up-to-date biography of Beyoncé Knowles, that shows the high international program quality of AETN, we mentioned the local initiatives by which we were strengthening the positioning of our channel from the very beginning. I think we might also have convinced with our channel initiative "bio.for life", that supports children in social distress.

Fox Channels Italy win a HOT BIRD™ TV Award this year too, a prestigious recognition for the work we have been doing in cooperation with Sky Italia for 5 years.
Awarding FOX, our first entertainment channel to be launched, confirms that high quality television is rewarding. Hopefully we will meet again next year with an award for another of our 12 channels.
