Europe's unique thematic broadcasting event!
The HOT BIRD™ TV Awards shine a spotlight on the thematic channels which enrich and diversify the broadcasting experience for many millions of viewers.
Hundreds of channels from around the world enter this annual competition, with the winners selected by an independent panel of media experts and recognized at a gala ceremony in Venice that will be held on Friday 19 November 2010.
Deadline for registrations extended until 26 August!
Due to summer holidays, the deadline for registrations has been extended until next 26 August.
By that date, all channels wishing to register will need to fill in the registration form on-line and send the relevant video material.

What’s new for 2010?
This year’s edition will see two innovations:
- Channels broadcasting through Eutelsat satellites in the Middle East are invited to enter
- The Fiction category this year is also open to General Entertainment
- New prizes for the 2010 edition will be assigned to
- Best Programme among all the channels entered
- Best New Channel of the year
